Getting around in England

This part, getting around on the Underground, we had pretty well figured out but once you got out on the street... things got confusing...

Just in case you're from another country and forget, directions are at every intersection.

Here's a sign for a roundabout, a very simple one, sometimes they have 4 exits with streets "signposted". In case you can't read the sign on the left, it says diverted traffic, in other words, detoured traffic.

Coming up to a roundabout, about to the hit the rumble stips, meaning slow down. I've decided I like roundabouts actually. They keep traffic moving and seem much more efficient than stop lights.

These crooked lines mean no parking, but you rarely see them, people usually just park along the roads where they please.

Random strange sign. My question is: How do you not allow this? When a dog's got to go...
