I so vividly remember the first time Lily did this. Matthew called me and said, "Lily's playing with the animals on her swing!" I thought he was being crazy, but then he showed me a video he took and I was blown away. Every little step they take to being "REAL PEOPLE!!!" is so exciting. Yesterday Lily climbed on her rocking horse and started rocking back and forth all by herself which she's never done and I just thought, "Oh my goodness... she's almost completely self-sufficient." So bittersweet!
